Jack Knox RSA RSW 1936-2015
Jack Knox was born in Kirkintilloch and studied Painting at Glasgow School of Art. He received a postgraduate travelling scholarship to Paris, where worked with the Atelier of Andre Lhotte.
In 1965 he was appointed a lecturer at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and later became Head of Painting at Glasgow School of Art in 1981.
