Frames

For 30 years we have been dealing in period British and European picture frames. We have an extensive stock of frames dating from 16th – 20th centuries, and specialise in sourcing the appropriate frame for a picture which corresponds to the original, taking into account date, style and aesthetic.

A selection of our stock is available to purchase online below; please do not hesitate to contact us if you cannot find the size or style needed. If a suitable period frame cannot be sourced, we can supply a reproduction, based on research and copied from original frames from all periods. Ornamented frames can be carved or made in traditional compo. We specialise in making frames for British artists with chosen framing styles, such as Sir Henry Raeburn and James Abbott McNeill Whistler.
