One day when walking on a beach in Lamma Island Ron came across dozens of Horse Shoe crabs that had been washed up onto the beach and tied up into the bamboo. They are endangered species and are considered a delicacy, although there is very little meat on them and they are largely armor. One of the things that appealed to Ron was the fact that it looked prehistoric and the outer shell rather like a medieval helmet.
